In my opinion, Novak is devoted to an america first concept that means we should deal with any country that can help us, and that we should militarily intervene almost never. He is willing, to a fault, to make excuses for nondemocratic countries.
But I've watched him a lot and have never found him to be so anti Israel or anti semetic as this article makes out. I believe he is extremely anti Arafat, anti communist, anti Farakhan, etc. He's a tough guy and I enjoy hearing him take on the liberals. I therefore tune out his isolationist tendencies. That's my take on him.
My impression of Novak is that he really despises the entire Bush family. He pretty much rips Dubya every week. To be honest, I've only occasionally read a few of his columns over the past years. The anti-Dubya spin got tedious before the 2000 election was even over.
