Is [Mary] the Mother of God the Father?

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one." [John 10:27-30]

Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, `Show us the Father'? [John 14:9]

"..[H]ow is it that the Mother of the Lord [mater tou kyrios, mater tou Kyrios] comes to me?" (Luke 1:42-43).
Among the Jews the name of God was not spoken, but a substitution was made to preserve respect. By convention when translating Hebrew and its sister language Aramaic into Greek, such as in the Greek Old Testament   (Septuagint) used to evangelize Greek-speaking Jews and gentiles, the word substituted for God's name was Kyrios, Kyrios,, which we translate as "Lord". This was in lieu of I AM, Christ's use of which for Himself would later scandalized the Jews. Elizabeth... call[ed] the fruit of Mary's womb, "the Lord", with all the meaning which the Jews attributed to it and which the Catholic Church continues to understand of the Word-made-flesh in Mary's womb. Which of the following statements is untrue, RnMom?

1. Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus.

2. Jesus is 100% God.

If you answered 1 or 2 or both, you are not a Christian. But if you believe that both are true, then you have to admit that Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of God. Logically, there's nowhere else to go.

There's just no way out of it. The Blessed Virgin Mary is the Mother of God. And, like any mother, she loves you, RnMom, very much, and wants to help you.

Why not let her?
