Peggy Noonan really nails it. The rat's embracing of abortion as the centerpiece of their platform was a key factor in my leaving the party. They sold their soul, and it's been downhill ever since. Look at how low they've sunk: the Boy Scouts are the enemy to them-the BOY SCOUTS! First motherhood, then the Boy Scouts. I suppose apple pie is out too because of the fat content, and the evil processed sugar. They are terribly squeemish about displays of patriotism or religious expressions.
