Des Moines Register reports..

"Speaking out: John Brink greets his sister Marcia Brink before leaving Ames Friday on an overnight bus trip to Washington, D.C., where they will join other war opponents today in a mass demonstration."

The protests of the Vietnam War years passed right by Marcia Brink, 50, of Ames.

"I was a small-town Iowa girl," she said. "It was over my head."

But the prospect of a war against Iraq has so upset and galvanized Brink, a publications manager for a research center, that she organized two busloads of Iowans who departed from Ames on Friday for a 17-hour trip to the nation's capital. They will lodge their objections to war today in a mass demonstration expected to draw thousands of protesters, despite forecasts of temperatures in the 20s and fresh snow on the ground.

The 60's protests passed her by, but BY GOLLY she's getting IN ON IT THIS TIME.
