You get the feeling her son and grandson are utterly embarrassed by this woman? Why would they join the Air Force and Marines if they thought like her?

Hopefully they did it because they are not like her.
ON the other hand, they could be like that turkey who is now gathering up "human shields" to save Saddam's behind- that guy claims to have been a marine in Desert Storm, and NEVER fails to mention it when he thinks it will advance his cause.
