WASHINGTON - Halfway into his four-year term, President Bush has significantly altered the nation's environmental policies, often without attracting much notice.
A handful of his most controversial policies have made headlines, notably his abandonment of an international treaty on global warming, approval of a federal dump for nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain in Nevada and his proposal to drill for oil and gas in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Amen to that! I'm thrilled having a family of fellow Christians in the White House :) Well at least twice a day, he gets prayers from us for protection and guidance as he protects us from death and destruction.

A great picture.
Oregon's unemployed just needs to smell the aroma of dead trees from last year's fire being cut. That could employ about 10,000 men/women who are unemployed.
If they allowed this and GW's timber thinning plan, cut the state employes by 10% and went to the 1999 budget, in less than two years Oregon would be out of debt.
