The criminal trial came first in the OJ case. Someone had posted there could be a civil trial first if enough evidence doesn't exist to bring charges.

Yep, he wasted so much time ranting at the NE guy. NE may write a check, but the other news organizations wine and dine them etc to get an interview. To say it would hurt the investigation is hard to believe, considering that the girlfriends' friends and relatives could have gone public anytime. It was going to get out and around eventually. I am glad Laci's family was finally told the truth. I imagine they wish they had been told sooner (especially after vigorously defending SP on TV).

I sure hope no one does him in. I think he's involved in other missing women cases. I would hate for him to take his knowledge of these incidents to Hell with him, like Richard Mark Evonitz did.

I still can't get over how much Kristen Modaferri looks like Laci. It is believed she was headed to a beach when she disappeared, near SF. She had placed an ad in a small local paper saying she wanted to "meet someone to explore SF with". Did Scott call and offer to be her guide? Did he offer to take her out in a boat and show her the Bay?

Agreed. I can only imagine the lies he told the poor litte girl..But he had her parents and his fooled too.

Maybe Laci found out about the "other woman" that night, and it must have been on horrible battle. The rest is history. The coverup began.
