Mark Williams, talk show host, says he sees the case leading "back towards Scott". Quite a case against this guy, building an airtight case against him. The police weren't ready to spring this yet, but the NE "opened up it's checkbook" and sprung the case.

I think you might be right on the time line. Sounds good to me. I didn't hear, or maybe the truck driver never stated what time he saw the vehicle. Would be nice to know. San Louis reservoir and surrounding area sounds like a good area to be looking for Laci

Tell me about it. When we were in our early 20's, one of my oldest and closest friends was carrying on with a much older, married man, who she insisted was legally separated, even though he never gave her his home phone number.

I tried to tell her over and over, and it's not as if she didn't know the reality deep down, it's just that she refused to acknowledge it and it was like she was trying to fool herself. I drove past his house with her, she told me about going to the bank where his wife worked, out of curiosity. It took her about a year, but finally she ended it.

In those situations, there's really nothing you can do but sit back and wait for her to wise up.

But you know the LE just HAS to find her body. Either that or they have to have a witness (like the truck driver) who can identify Laci on that last drive. Add to that, they need forensic evidence to prove she died in the house (which they may already have and just aren't saying).

Surprise, surprise. I've always said there are two types of cheaters...the ones who've been married awhile and are having marital problems or a midlife crisis and eventually yield to temptation, and then you have the chronic types, whose cheating has nothing to do with the marriage--they cheat because they want what they want and nobody is going to stop them.

Laci was a young, vibrant, very attractive girl and they had only been married a few years...the type of man who would cheat in that situation is your chronic type...I knew there wouldn't be just one girlfriend, but several, probably carrying on with more than one at the same time. He had a secret double life--a master of deception.
