What is the Leftist necromantic obsession with the dead? They continually attempt to raise spirits of the dead: The Wellstone funerally, Martin Luther King Jr., the constant striving to revive the "spirit" of the 60's. It is like the Communists in the Soviet Socialist Republic that enshrined and groomed the corpse of Lenin for decades.
I continually beat my friends over the head with these ideas and sometimes I see that light bulb come on.

Horowitz shows this is the idolatry of the Left, continuing he says this:

Ritual mass murder like the societal practice of abortion is ritual mass murder upon the altars dedicated to idolatrous vanities, a collective human sacrifice to pagan idols. Adolph Hitler's Teutonic pagan idolatry was the idea of a so-called 'master race.' The geonicide was a mass ritual murder, a sacrifice to those false pagan gods.
On the other hand, conservative misunderstanding of the left is only in part a product of the left's own deceits. It also reflects conservatives' inability to understand the religious nature of the progressive faith and the power of its redemptive idea.

This considered, the kingdom of darkness, as it is set forth in these and other places of the Scripture, is nothing else but a confederacy of deceivers that, to obtain dominion over men in this present world, endeavour, by dark and erroneous doctrines, to extinguish in them the light, both of nature and of the gospel; and so to disprepare them for the kingdom of God to come.
It also becomes more easy to see this related not only to the issues of U.S. politics, but in relation to the whole international Left wing and particularly their hatred for Israel...

[12] And first, for the tormentors, we have their nature and properties exactly and properly delivered by the names of the Enemy (or Satan), the Accuser (or Diabolus), the Destroyer (or Abaddon). For so also was it in the time before the Jews had deposed God. For God's kingdom was in Israel, and the nations round about were the kingdoms of the Enemy; and consequently, by Satan is meant any earthly enemy of the Church.
