Yep, whenever I see something big is on TV, the first place I go to is Free Republic to learn the truth

Isn't that the truth! The day Wellstone's plane crashed I was already reading about it on FR when CNBC broke in with the news on the TV at work.

After 9-11 I sat in my office for a week with the markets closed. I spent the whole week there with nothing to do, just in case somebody called.

I was so thankful for FR. I could read all day and keep up on what was happening. I'm positive that's what kept me sane.
