If it helps any, I think it was the Battle of Santa Cruz, and IIRC, the picture appears in Guadalcanal: The Carrier Battles by Eric Hammel.

The new rallying cry is that we can just disarm him without going to war. Or that this is CIA-planted evidence. These guys are realy ammusing :) What fools.

NC reporting that Iraq claims that these were only short-range missiles. "They were old! No? OK, they were short-range! No? Uh, they were parts! No? Uh, they were for training! Yeah, that's the ticket! No? Uh..."

Greetings PhiKapMom, FReepers, et al:
They must think the United States is stupid!
May I remind you there is plenty of evidence supporting that theory. Think about all the hollywouldwood types we've exported to Iraq in the last few months. :)

One thing to keep in mind is that Saddam has nothing to lose once the smoking gun is revealed. There's no "out" for him, and he might as well start firing scuds before we're fully deployed. He has been offered early retirement. He should accept the deal.

More like we have the UPS manifest for the 4000 and somehow Iraq can't locate them in their inventory. Actually, an infobabe today asked where they got the warheads, and an Iraq expert said that Iraq has the industrial capacity to build the warheads themselves. Nice try.

Your priorities are out of whack if you want to know what Sean Penn thinks of this.

Back when the UN inspectors were thrown out of the Country, they had accounted for 4,000 chemical warheads that were filled. They were not declared on the last Iraqi declaration nor have they been found.
