What a backward country!!
In America, he'd be running for Congress or starting a book tour, particularly if his name was Kennedy or Clinton.

Raped and murdered a child? The burning he took was just a preview of coming attractions.

This situation became a little clearer to me when the article stated that the suspect was black. I've lived for more than 22 years in Latin America and have read in the news on many occasions that racism is almost non-existant in Latin American countries. This is not and never has been true, and, I have to say, child rape and incest is more the norm than the exception in those Latin countries with a large indigenous population. This man might (I say might) have actually been innocent of these accusations - the townsfolk may have simply wanted a scapegoat and this guy was elected because his skin was the darkest.

I guess we'll never know if he was actually guilty or not.

Yeah, I was wondering how long it would be until one of the people on here started waxing about how this was such a great idea...
To: ZULU
Which ones do you want to send? The convicted ones or those merely suspected?

Start with those that have been convicted...

Start with those who have been convicted? And then?
Ecuador is a third-world country. Mob-imposed "justice", while emotionally satisfying, is not exactly the hallmark of a civilized people. Sure, everybody cheers on the mob, until the mob decides to turn on you.
