It all just seems like so much identity laundering.
That is a cool turn of phrase for what Leftists have done for a long time ... it is why they were called "front" organizations. Same concept applied in yesterday's march ... a bunch of stalinist-inspired organizations duped leftie mush-heads to march for "peace" where they defended the most brutal dictator on the planet.

You are so right about this ... I hadnt heard about PETA getting funded by Dept of Fish and Wildlife, but I would add this: A lot of radical feminist (feminazi-style man-hating groups) get funding via the VAWA (Violence against women's act) that funds 'local projects' and 'battered womens shelters' some of which have agendas that are quite political/radical. Also, the 'community reinvestment act' is a boondoggle to give bucks to ACORN, a Jesse Jackson-related shakedown organization.
We very much need to defund the Left.
This includes legal services corp, NEA, PBS, above mentioned examples...
I havent heard or observed this defunding. We will have to keep the COngressional feet to the fire on this.

The important fact that Ramsey Clark is legal representative for Saddam's regime and is heading IAC and WWP that put the 'antiwar' show on this weekend is not reported in the press.
One can only conclude that it "just doesnt matter" that a dictator is behind this. Treason is just not a big deal to the media. The media itself is too anti-American to understand what it *means*.

Defund the left...defund the left...defund the left.
I just knew there was something that Bush needed to add to his to do list.

Who funds the IE or ie or Ie or whatever network. They have a network of left-wing radio stations (could only be one station, however.)

I read this list of Bush's acts (Moore's supposed indictment of Bush) and I am reminded of that Sienfeld line ... "Not that there's anything wrong with it"

My point: money was channeled from abroad to support subversion in 1967, there is no reason to think it isn't being channeled now (from different sources perhaps, although Cuba may be the one constant.) Then, the FBI surely knew it and, characteristically enough, preferred to "watch it" without doing anything in hope of learning more. The "let's watch it" stance is all too common here, after all there are bigger fish to fry, there are diplomatic considerations, we are sending subversive money there too, so the powers that be may be considering it all a zero sum game. Well, it ain't and it don't have to be!

I also think that this is the most important issue and question after last Saturday's demonstrations. Arguing with the Left is playing their game, which they'll win anyway, since they are occupying the moral high ground (as defined in most people's minds - I mean who could be against Peace?!) But asking about their funding is to start subverting the subversives!

It may look like I offered a back handed slap at Dubya but that was not my intention.
My point was that on a conservative forum like this I find it strange that too many conservatives are ignorant of all the reasons the left hates this president. Too often I see some conservatives shouting loudest about failures rather than successes.
As a father and a manager of people I have learned some methods of guiding.
Criticism is the least effective tool I use.
It results in children, and workers who give up because they can never reach the high standards set.
The question is where do the conservatives want Republicans to go?
Today you have 3 choices to run the government: Republican, rat, or let others decide for you.
I hope they dont want me to vote rat so that leaves give up.
I think that is counter-productive.

After reading your rantings, I suppose you would have been happier if owlbore-loserman won the presidental election?
I suggest you go to that other web site we read of, (commie-dummycRATS-united, or something like that), you may find that you will be among like-minded friends.

Not at all Dave I voted proudly for Bush and I intend to again in 04.
The list was from an Anti-Bush website, but as I stated in the first sentence almost everything the author critisized I applauded. Unfortunately it has been removed by the admin. I assume because it contained some profanity. It was a list of spending cuts and conservative appointments. Perhaps it could have been formatted better to show that it wasn't written by me.
