What, in a counrty filled with socialist? Our locals laws faile dmiserably when we tried to convict the first suspects of terrorism, and as in typical Dutch fashion the government promises to change laws, but I know nothing will happen to stop terrorists.

The Dutch government admitted they never tried to stop islamic terrorism because it did not targeted the Netherlands. And the police was ordered not to investigate extreme-left terrorism.

The EU rather funds Arafat and even when we are given evidence some of that money is used to kill off Israelis, we don't allow this to be investigated!

to what point? There is a certain level things get elevated to that does not take republican/democrat constitutional unconstitutional into consideration. Right or wrong... that is life.

Well, then, like I said earlier, for the common safety perhaps we should declare martial law, and send Israeli tanks into the street.

And, like I said earlier, we have laws against people doing bad things. If a terrorist is planning something, they can either be watched or arrested. Let's do it our own way, and not let some other country circumvent and supplant our laws.

In any case, we seem to have reached an impass.

If we are opposed to Israel killing off terrorists in the US because they will do it clandestine, why not officialy invite them?

After all, the US declared a war on terrorism.

There are people who are saying they don't want Israel to kill 'US citiznes'. So I take it you rather live next to these so called 'US citizens', 'US citizens' who fly planes into buildings? Who trained in Afghan terrorism camps?

Let's face it. The FBI and CIA are too incompetent to handle them. 9/11 proved that beyond any doubt.

We need to cooperate with countries that are in the same war against terrorism.

I am not alarmed, since Mossad and I have the same enemies.

Once they get used to it, what happens to the next US citizen to organize a movement to stop foreign aid to Israel? Or better yet, when some future Clinton-like Prez tells the Israeli PM "I'd really like to help you, but I'm too busy dealing with these very inconvenient people over here. Now, if I wasn't having to be busy dealing with these inconvenient people, I'd have plenty of time to help you..."

I'd expect Bush to "officially" dis-invite them, and I'd expect him to explain that rather clearly. If they want to provide intelligence and reasoning for arresting suspected terrorists residing in our country, let them provide that information to our agencies. That would be very helpful.

We should be glad that someone has the guts to do targetted killings, and if they kill ones in our backyard, even better!!!

I hereby invite the Mossad to come to my country, the Netherlands,

Hey, that's neat. Invitation noted :).

It strikes me as extremely unlikely that a real Mossad agent would actually be foolish enough to accept such an invitation on a public chat board.

No, I would be pretty confident that the Mossad could do this bit of Neghborhood cleanup quite effectively without you ever realizing it was done.

In Robert Bolt’s play A Man for All Seasons, Sir Thomas More speaks with a young moral zealot.

"And what", More asks him, "would you do to root out the Devil, who hides in a land thickly forested with legal protections?"
“I would chop down every law in England to get at the Devil,” the young hothead replies.
"And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned round on you-where would you hide, Roper, all the laws being flat? This country's planted thick with laws from coast to coast-Man's laws, not God's-and if you cut them down, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then?"
Keep in mind that Mossad will be operating according to what's best for Israel, rather than according to US law, or US notions of justice. Or perhaps they will just be operating according to what their current bosses happen to want. I would be as uncomfortable with Mossad hit squads in the US, as I would with Janet Reno ATF hit squads

Knees buckle

Yes, but why the announcement? What if Sheryl Crow reads this?

Seriously, I'd like to know the reason for publishing this.

Of course he wouldn't :)). I'm just saying that the invitation was noted. You don't really think I'm that stupid, do you?

Others read, you know. Actually, a lot of boards get read routinely.

I hereby invite the Mossad to come to my country, the Netherlands, and rid us of the terrorists that roam here freely because our government is too PC and scared to tackle them.

If your government is too PC to protect its citizens, then the citizens need to replace the government, or handle the problem themselves.

Any group who has the right to wander around killing whoever they want, are the effective dictators of a country. Allowing outsiders to come in and start killing, means that you are tired of freedom

ALL OF YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. Despite the fact these scum bag terrorists deserve death, there is still a CONSTITUTION. Everyone, in this country including terrorists (and even worse liberals) has UNALIENABLE rights.

I can't believe that there is so much support for these unconstitutional killings on a "conservative" website.

By the way I visited the lovely area of Mordor last spring.... too humid for me. Be uncomfortable if you want. Think about isrealis ??? you think they are uncomfortable riding on busses. Going to the store to get food? celebrating satre? HHmmm. I think certain times in history the law is ignored. Lets say speeding for example.... how many cops are pulling people over for speeding that are out running a tornado. Yes the cops are uncorfortable with the dangerous speeds but there is a bigger present danger they are trying to avoid. I would ask those that are uncomfortable to hold your breath and pray it doesn't get out of hand. But for the record I can live with your discomfort I can not live with the thought that our country would by their very laws give terrorists the time place and materials to plan and execute the lives of innocent people.

Be careful, Israeli interests and U.S. interests are not always the same. If you think so, do a search on FR for the traitor "Pollard" and the crimes he committed.

Even friendly nations spy on each other, just to keep the dialogues honest. For what other purpose do you think we staff the political and economic cones of our embassies? We snoop on the British and Germans just as we spy on the Russians and Chinese, and they all spy on us. We also expend a lot of money and energy spying on Israel, and Israel would be derelict not to keep close tabs on us. All nations pursue their own self interests. Pollard just happens to have gotten caught, and his treachery rests in the fact that he is a US citizen, and therefore betrayed his own country.

That said, I believe that our interests and Israel's are quite similar. Not always the same, but similar overall. The United States claims the right to hunt down our terrorist enemies wherever we find them, and Israel is vowing to do the same. Besides, terrorists shouldn't be seeking refuge here in the first place.

I can, but it's still pathetic.
