The governor of Arizona promised visiting Mexican lawmakers that she would sign legislation that would allow undocumented immigrants in that state to obtain driver's licenses...

...in clear violation of Federal law against aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

Arizona’s Governor Napalitano, only won the recent election, because the state had 3 petitions on the ballot as to decide how to divide the State’s gambling proceeds among Arizona’s 16 different Indian tribes. Every Indian in the state voted Democrat. This ended up in Napalitano beating the Republican by 5000 votes state wide.

When Anita Hill was used to attempt to destroy Judge Clarence Thomas’s nomination to the Supreme court, the angry mean contemptible hate filled female (biologically only) that sat next to Anita as her personal attorney, was NAPALITANO the new Governor of Arizona.

It will be interesting to see how she does in one of America’s most conservative states.

Somehow she managed to come off as being moderate to conservative. Like any politician, she said things to woo votes from both parties. I wasn't fooled by her for an instant, and it's a darn shame that Republicans were taken in. My personal opinion is that it was the "education" and "it's for the children" spiel that got her in.

Why? Because with a license you can VOTE.

Here is something just as incredible: Today on our +(Richmond, VA) evening news, there was a segment in which was reported that state officials were having trouble deciding whether to charge ILLEGAL ALIENS in-state or out- of-state tuition rates.
How the reporter could narrate this news item with a straight face is beyond me.

Can someone please explain to me why this lunacy is going on? I have yet to hear anyone in an official capacity stand up and say that allowing these illegals in is, well, illegal.

If the our government doesn't stop this then I say more power to the militia in Arizona. They are our first and, currently, only line of defense, so have at it, men. Kill them, kill them all.

I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that illegal immigrants have any rights at all. Recent posts have suggested that this country is insane - a logical conclusion one must admit!
Americans who support special options for illegals are insane! Illegals are, by law, criminals. Persons to be removed forthwith.

So how in the hell can this insanity continue?

"The governor of Arizona promised visiting Mexican lawmakers that she would sign legislation that would allow undocumented immigrants in that state to obtain driver's licenses.
A promise she won't have to honor, since it will never reach her desk."

I'm not familiar with AZ politics, but is that her version of "the fine print?" "Gosh, I'd only sign it, but the legislature won't let me."

I can understand why she wants to give these legions of illegal aliens drivers licenses.

With the Motor Votor Law, they can register to vote and vote for her!

This Napolitano woman won in a very close election with much suspicion of election fraud.

This is what happens when the wimpublican party looks the other way on both fraud and illegal immigration.

Didn't the two Republican governors before the last one have to resign because they were being indicted?

Couple of things to keep in mind. AZ voted for Clinton in 92 and 96. The AZ split between Bush and Gore was something like a few percentage points.

The Republican party in AZ is hurting after the Alt-Fuels fiasco when the party's star Jeff Grosscost decided the government should pay half the price of a new Caddy, loaded with all the options you want, so long as you install a small propane tank you never have to use, even if you live in Nevada and you'll never drive the car in AZ.

The Republican party in AZ is hurting because Mesa-style Republicans keep introducing measures to take away teaching certificates from any teacher who has ever performed oral sex, even on a spouse.

Are you saying she was more smug and arrogant announcing her win than the Republican candidate in the 2000 Presidential elections?

Me, I didn't think either was smug or arrogant. But it's hard to see how someone would object to the manner of one unless they objected to the manner of the other.

You're probably right. Many republicans did vote for her, especially the "Soccer Moms". You say you weren't fooled. What exactly did she say that was untrue?

Exactly. But a few more promises like this one and she's a guaranteed one-termer.

I should have been a little clearer. The governor has signed a slew of executive orders and I hope that many will question this at all levels. Maybe Hannity, Savage or even Rush could dig into this.
