Man Overboard!
One of my Brothers got pulled off thr boat during helo ops
by the line attatched to the resuce basket from the helo.
The resue of him was "by the book" and Thank God he was not seriously hurt.
All I did was to point at him while the coxswain steered
and the other 2 crew pulled him back onboard.
We were about 3 miles offshore when it happened.
It was the last practice run by the helo.
It all happened in the blink of an eye.
What a rush!
We were out for a total of 2 hours.
Got a look at my work for tomorrow in the Ops Office.
I'll be busy. LOL

Tag line? Did he hang on too long, or get tangled? Who saw him go first? I don't suppose this much reality was in the plan. Glad he was rescued quickly, safely, and relatively unhurt.

Helo pulled away basket to fast resulting in line catching his ankle.
We all saw him go overboard at the same time.
You have to always watch that 3000 lb plus helo
about 50 ft above and each crew member during each evolution.
