We Were Soldiers was basically "boycotted" by the media and hardly mentioned and they torpedoed it as a movie by not talking about it. Hollywood d "WWS" because it was so patriotic and good. They prefer Oliver Stone's portrayal of Viet Nam and always will as they detest America and America's military. Long Live Mel Gibson who has taken the s on head first and is going to be this generations John Wayne.

In short, they did the same thing to "We Were Soldiers" as they did to "The Patriot". They picked it apart, and buried it. I have a feeling they are going to do it to this new one too!
