Way too small for sturgeon fishing, which is what he was apparently going to go for. At least that's what some are saying in some articles I've read. The boat wasn't adequate for catching sturgeon of 3 to 6 feet, which I think is about what the legal range is for sturgeon. Photos I've seen of sturgeon somewhere yesterday show some pretty large fish.
