Missing Woman's Husband Reportedly in Affair

Friends and family of Laci Peterson are reportedly reeling from news that her husband was having an affair.


Thursday, the volunteer center where search efforts were organized was closed with no explanation. But sources told KOVR news in Sacramento that Scott Peterson had a girlfriend in nearby Turlock, and police have told the Peterson family about the affair.


Modesto police did not return our phone calls. But Peterson did release a statement.


"As long as it keeps people interested in the case, they can think whatever they want," the statement said. "It's important to keep Lacy's picture out there."


Investigators have spent several days searching the Berkeley Marina, where Scott Peterson said he was fishing the day his wife disappeared. There have been no reports that crews found anything conclusive there.

In the same situation ... if i was having an affair and my wife had disappeared I would IMMEDIATELY come forward and reveal the affair. And take a polygraph.

I have her on too but nothing has been mentioned, even during news breaks.

Kind of like the VanDam's and their murdered daughter case.....they eventually opened up about everything and the swinging lifestyle with nothing to hide.

I think its a little too convenient that Laci is missing and Scott is having an affair. Poor Laci and the poor baby. My heart really goes out that child and Laci.
