As a strategy for disenfranchising the Demoncrats, would it be better to hammer them now on this issue or let them continue paralyzing the Senate while we conduct a propaganda campaign accusing the Demoncrats of trying to steal the election and destroy the American system of government?

After all, the latter is what *they* would do, if the situation were reversed (which, NTS, it never could be, of course).

Sure wish I had some one other than Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell to call. Sigh. That's as bad as my situation... I've got Sarbanes and some other Rat that looks like a fire-plug... when you meet her in person.

The limp wrists in Michigan have given us Debbie Stallemall and Carl Lenin who are never going to listen to any citizen unless he can sing all the verses of the Internationale....or if its Jenny Mulhern calling. Jenny can sing the Internationale.

Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., at a news conference on Capitol Hill Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, criticized President Bush's economic stimulus plan. With Republicans holding a small edge in Senate seats, Dacchle and the Democrats say it's only fair that they get close to half the committee seats and money to be allotted. (AP Photo/Dennis Cook)

So you don't agree with what The President said about Lott?

I don't see how that could possibly be relevant, here. I can't imagine Bush saying anything negative about anyone -- including Daschle. He's far too subtle for that. Bush showed by his actions that he was extremely unhappy with Lott's comments. Bush did not lobby to keep Lott - --

I imagine Bush was pretty peeved when Lott was caving (again) on affirmative active, - Lott hung Pickering out to dry on BET -- Well, first thing Bush does is announce that he's not backing down from the Pickering nomination. He's sticking to his guns.

Bush is a real man. Lott is a girly-man. People have a tendency to prefer their own kind. It was better for the Dems if Lott remained in power, then they could get him to "keep his promise" over Pickering, affirmative action, etc ... and keep the Republicans off message. Bush had enough of that crap.

Girly-men: 0 Bush: yet another point

It is better to keep hammering so it gets in the public eye.

According to what Sen Santorum said on Fox and Friends this morning it is orchestrated by the RATs (Ms. clinton is my guess) with trying to blackmail Republicans into agreeing to items such as what bills come up in committee, judicial appointments, and the like. He also said that the DemocRATs have tried to hold committee hearings with them (RATS) in charge. No Committee Hearings and none of the 11 new Senators have committee assignments because of the obstruction of the Clinton DemocRATs.

He also discussed the leaking of classified and why Rumsfeld will only brief key members. Then he went on to say the Senators cannot be trusted not to leak.

Look at what happened in the Republican Conference -- someone leaked to Novak (wanna bet it is McCain?) With ms. clinton being assigned to Armed Services, I certainly hope the DoD only gives the full committee routine briefings. No classified as long as that face of evil is in attendance.

Say keep the pressure on and let the RATs stall as long as they want. Fox is now going after the entire story of their obstruction!

Thanks for the great picture as a reminder of what we are up against! This should make everyone get mad all over again! As Sen Santorum said -- the RATs are attempting a coup and this man pictured here is the spokesman for the Clinton RATs. He talks, she pulls the strings!

Who decides who will head the committees? Of my two Senators Kyl may still have two legs to stand on but McCain is more interested in his own petty hurts to care about the people here or around the country. These political battles are not what we elected and sent people to Washington to engage in.

I am writing, calling and e-mailing...put their feet in the fire folks, this childish and dangerous behavior from our elected has to be stopped.

Here are 2 toll-free numbers to call your Congressman or Senators in Washington...I think they still work.....

800-648-3516
877-762-8762

You can call toll free on the AARP number here...800-211-0907 but they ask you to enter info like your home phone number.

Seriously though, I have nothing but respect for those who live in states where you are'nt represented by your senators. You are needed to fight against the madness.

When you write or call, let your Senator know that we are tired of the junior senator from New York calling the shots not just for the Democrats but Republicans as well. Mrs. Clinton has never had nor will have any respect for the citizens of the United States, they are just in her way.

NO TO HILLARY ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Good point! Can you believe the RATs have named her to the Armed Services Committee. Don't think if I were Rumsfeld I would ever give that Full Committee another classified briefing.

Great info in post #170! For those that didn't see Senator Santorum this morning, he was great. He told it like it is and I was glad to see Fox covering the story this way. Today should be very interesting, to say the least. Hillary is running the Senate now for the RATS and has more power than any junior senator should ever have. I hope the RATS end up rueing the day that they put this anti-American traitor in charge.
