Thanks for the compliment. Do you have anything to say about INS storing hundreds of thousands of submitted applications in Kansas warehouses without even reading them?

How many self-appointed buttinskis are patrolling the wide-open Canadian border which is much longer and over which terrorists have actually entered our country? Or the Atlantic, Pacific or Gulf coasts?

Gee, the defenders of the border looney tunes claim that they are just stalking their targets and reporting them to law enforcement. Now you say that they are "trying to prevent" those of any nationality from entering the US over its Mexican border. How many Norwegians are they tracking? How many Chinese? How many Bohemians? Any Finns? Oh, that's right! Its just Mexicans but that is just a coincidence, right? How could I have thought otherwise?

BTW, Peter Brimelow, apparently Honcho at VDARE, is himself a British immigrant but that's different. His wife is a Canadian immigrant, but that's different. Their child is described by Brimelow in his execrable screed, Alien Nation, as blue-eyed and blond-haired as he explains his determination that America in 2050 should look like little Brimelow.

Tally ho, thanks for letting the Brimelows into the US. Now let's make some rules to keep THEM out.

Just because the INS is not expedient in processing immigration applications doesn't give the applicant the right to illegally cross over the border into the U.S. because they are tired of waiting. I don't care if it takes 1 year, 5 years, or 20 years to process the applications, people who want to come to the U.S. still need to obey our immigration laws and wait for their turn.

I think it makes more sense to take care of the "big leak" and not be as concerned about the "small leak". Many, many times more illegal aliens and potential terrorists are coming across our southern border than are coming over our northern border.

Now you say that they are "trying to prevent" those of any nationality from entering the US over its Mexican border. How many Norwegians are they tracking? How many Chinese? How many Bohemians? These groups of American patrols are not targeting anybody based on their nationality or ethnicity. If they see somebody crossing over the U.S. border in the desolate areas in which they patrol, they are going to inquire as to what that person is doing. People tend not to walk through the middle of a desert and cross international borders simply as a recreational activity.

I doubt there's any shortage of immigrants from certain countries ---it would appear Mexico is having no trouble meeting it's quota for legal immmigration ----but then I think that is part of the problem, there are so many able to enter legally because of family reunification and other ways and many of those are qualifying for welfare programs and filling the quotas for Mexican immigration and some of the harder-working types from Mexico who have no relatives (or anchor babies) are being kept out from coming in legally.

The entire system should be reformed so that those coming in (legally or otherwise) who "need" government assistance such as SSI and Medicaid should be barred and a few more of those who are self-sufficient should be allowed in instead.

How many Norwegians are they tracking?

In FY 2002, only one Norwegian was apprehended sneaking in from Mexico. Norwegians usually fly into to the country and enter legally, and only leave when they fell like it. There is not much of a need for them to sneak in across the border.

How many Chinese?

333 Chinese nationals were apprehended sneaking in from Mexico in FY 2002, so approximately 650 got pass that Border Patrol and are now living happily in the US.

How many Bohemians?

Only 8 were apprehended sneaking in from Mexico, in FY 2002.

Any Finns?

No. Like the Norwegians, they just enter legally and stay as long as they like. No need to sneak in.

Oh, that's right! Its just Mexicans but that is just a coincidence, right?

The following folks were caught trying to sneak in from Mexico in FY 2002: Afghanistan = 13, Egypt = 30, Iraq = 28, Iran = 28, Israel = 60, Jordan = 59, Kuwait = 5, Lebanon = 25, North Korea = 4, Pakistan = 93, Palestine = 1, Qatar = 2, Saudi Arabia = 17, Syria = 11, Yemen = 10.

Lets not forget the Hundred thousand or so from Central and South America. Or the thousands from Africa, Asia, The Caribbean and Europe. Yes there are more Mexicans sneaking in, but they are not alone.

Remember, for every one caught, approximately 2 get through.

How could I have thought otherwise?

Probably because you are misinformed.
