"blackelk" *seems* to have also been blessed with very
unusual eyesight.......LOL

"The boyz I saw on TV sure looked like beer guzzlers."

He also thinks we should welcome the mexicans sneaking across borders who come "just for a better life"

"Guess he can tell them too, "just by looking".

So I have to wonder how Grijalva could explain why he calls them 'racist'.

Grijalva is a Latino and most of the illegal aliens crossing over our southern border are Latino. Grijalva just wants to help his fellow Latinos. But I guess there's nothing racist about that. Or is there?

Well, I hate to say this, but using Google (which, by the way caches the web pages), I found at least ONE quote cited by the SPLC in its report on Mr. Spencer to be verified. it was also quite simple to isolate it and see how often it was used.

The SPLC's claims are NOT entirely off-base. I even Freepmailed one of the links to dirtboy - I'm not sure if it will have any effect, but that quote has appeared on the website.

Okay, Joe Hadenuf, I'll lay it out for you:

At least one of the quotes the SPLC cited was, through a search I conducted on Google.com, CONFIRMED to have been on no fewer than four pages on the American Patrol website.

If you wish, I can freepmail you the links.

The majority of the people I know who oppose illegal immigration are neither racist nor xenophobic. As I said, the fact that the illegals are primarily hispanic is completely and entirely irrelevant to many of us. You refuse to accept that fact because it conflicts with the pathetic argument you are making. You have repeatedly insisted on stereotyping all opponents of illegal immigration as racist and xenophobic with absolutely no evidence to back up your statements.

Why do you feel that a person must be a xenophobic racist to oppose illegal immigration? Isn't it possible that a person can oppose illegal immigration because he is concerned with their growing contribution to the problems of overcrowding, the costly burdens of our social programs, the government's inability to protect tax-paying American citizens and their property, pollution, traffic congestion, overcrowded public schools and a lack of educational resources for our children, poorly educated voters, and crime?

Me too.....if they can't/won't answer the question, they
CHANGE the subject. Blackelk signed off for dinner, and
said he would be back later. (I can hardly wait) Perhaps
he'll next post us some recipes on this thread.....:o)

1. I think that there is a lot more good about Mormonism than you are willing to admit. Do you check the citizenship of Latinos seeking to become Mormons? We Catholics certainly don't check the citizenship of Latinos attending Mass.

Mormons do not ask for citizenship. They are, however, expected to obey the law of the land and be honest in their dealings. If a Mormon found out a person was breaking the law, they would report the crime. A person here illegally would not be worthy, however, to obtain a recommend to enter the Temple. His leadership won't ask him whether he's a citizen, but if he answered the interview questions honestly he would prove himself ineligible. There are, however, Temples in almost every nation in the world except for Arabic nations who won't allow them.

2. No, you are not racist for wanting to abolish all welfare. In fact, you win a prize here. You are the very first anti-immigration poster to state opposition to welfare generally and not just for Mexicans. Congratulations.

And, just like wanting to eliminate all welfare and other socialist, unconstitutional schemes I also want to eliminate illegal immigration. It is not about race, it is not about Mexicans, it is about upholding the law, providing national security in a time of war, and keeping America's resources for Americans.

3. I have been a NRA-list lawyer for NRA members arrested on firearms charges in Connecticut. As far as I am concerned, I think the Second Amendment applies to every person as well and individually not merely as part of some official or unofficial gummint group.

Even those unpopular groups that are characterized by the liberal media as beer-guzzling, redneck racist militia types?

4. You chose the Benson quote not I. You don't seem to be very consistent with it.

I'm very consistent with it. I want freedom for everyone. That freedom cannot be achieved by everyone stampeding into the United States of America. The principles of freedom, as enshrined in our Constitution, must be promoted within everyone's native country. They've got to have their own War for Independence from their socialist masters just like we had ours. If we import socialist-minded people from third world cesspools, we will become a socialist nation and turn into a similar cesspool - and our freedom will be gone. I am standing for freedom.

5. A common culture? You must be joking. I am not a Mormon. You are apparently not a Catholic. Gloria Steinem and Jesse Helms? Eminem and Kansas? Robert Mapplethorpe and actual artists? Don't get me started.

We used to have a somewhat common culture. I admit that our culture has become somewhat balkanized. I don't mind a mixture of cultures as long as the common thread between the cultures is the appreciation for America, the preservation of our freedom, and the protection of our individual rights.

6. Anyone with any sense will learn English to prosper here. There has NEVER been a time from the colonial era forward when everyone here spoke English.

You can speak whatever language you want - but you can't expect anyone to listen to you or provide you anything in any other language except for American English.

7. You have lost the borders, Spiff. You just refuse to accept the fact. Much better that America be the ideas, ideals and principles of its founders. That has worked very well to date and will continue to work well. Just have enough self-confidence to refuse to consort with the cultural heirs of those who hanged Joseph Smith, told my ancestors that Irish need not apply, or tried every trick in the book to prevent the melting pot and failed.

Joseph Smith was shot, along with his brother Hyrum, when a mob stormed into his jail cell in Carthage, Il and killed him. In fact, he was the first candidate for the President of the United States who was assassinated.

Anyway, that's beside the point. I don't mind the melting pot but there's two problems with that right now. Number one, the illegals aren't assimilating into the melting pot. Number two, they are coming here illegally. If immigrants would come legally and assimilate - no problem. Welcome to America!

Do you have anything to say about INS storing hundreds of thousands of submitted applications in Kansas warehouses without even reading them?

Just because the INS is not expedient in processing immigration applications doesn't give the applicant the right to illegally cross over the border into the U.S. because they are tired of waiting. I don't care if it takes 1 year, 5 years, or 20 years to process the applications, people who want to come to the U.S. still need to obey our immigration laws and wait for their turn.

How many self-appointed buttinskis are patrolling the wide-open Canadian border which is much longer and over which terrorists have actually entered our country?

I think it makes more sense to take care of the "big leak" and not be as concerned about the "small leak". Many, many times more illegal aliens and potential terrorists are coming across our southern border than are coming over our northern border.

Now you say that they are "trying to prevent" those of any nationality from entering the US over its Mexican border. How many Norwegians are they tracking? How many Chinese? How many Bohemians? Any Finns? Oh, that's right! Its just Mexicans but that is just a coincidence, right? How could I have thought otherwise?

These groups of American patrols are not targeting anybody based on their nationality or ethnicity. If they see somebody crossing over the U.S. border in the desolate areas in which they patrol, they are going to inquire as to what that person is doing. People tend not to walk through the middle of a desert and cross international borders simply as a recreational activity.

Tne KGB used the Mexican Border for decades, inadvertently or not, this trained the Isdlamofascists to treat it the same way.

The Canadian border is also weakly defended, but the Canadians, as boring as they are, do not show overt official hostility (unless conected to the Loony Left) to the US and actually make a game try at enforcing the law with very limited resources.

This discussion is pretty heated, so I am kind of hesitant about putting in my two cents. Oh, well. Here goes.

Dealing with those that don't see this immigration disaster as harming this country, can cause one to get pissed. LOL!

Only a complete idiot, or one that has an anti-American agenda cannot or will not admit the obvious harm done to a country that is being invaded by literally millions that have no respect for our laws or our sovereignty.

Feel free to put your two cents in more often.

Actually, they don't. Their immigration enforcement makes our efforts look much better than they actually are.
