Kaplowitz nails it perfectly. This is as accurate discription of the day-to-day in large urban public school districts as I have read.

Kaplowitz also properly states that as a white male, he will be made the convienient scapegoat for any and all problems associated with his building.

But the training program skimped on actual teaching and classroom-management techniques, instead overwhelming us with sensitivity training. My group spent hours on an activity where everyone stood in a line and then took steps forward or backward based on whether we were the oppressor or the oppressed in the categories of race, income, and religion.

Oh brother....This guy came in carrying liberal "white guilt", he must have just loved the oppressed/oppressor game. Sensitivity training and then he faced the real world. Hah!

I am getting really tired of constantly being blamed as a white male of being guilty of everything.

As one of those who marched, and helped desegregate in the 60's, they are really making a non-racist into a racist, by continually blaming me. As the last minority which it is still legal to discriminate against, I am getting really fed up with all this crap.

Actually, that is the fault of the poster. When copying documents in some formats, and pasting them in another format, apostrophes become question marks. The poster then needs to go back and fix them.

This is the same school system that Michelle Malkin recently wrote about in her column "Plundering - for the children". She details how several folks - high up in the DC teachers' union - plundered over $2 million in union dues from their teachers.
