Last I heard, the sun won't get that chance. At this moment, we're in a relatively clear arm of our galaxy. But not only is our solar system rotating, every other system is too. In 50,000 years, we will have rotated into areas of "heavy traffic", plenty of stars and large objects. We may collide with something big before something big hits us. I wonder what liberals will think of to tax the whole event.
