If Republicans just stay in their country clubs and hope for minority votes, they will not get many.

While I do not think we have near enough Americans of any color or creed on our side I resent your implications of in-difference.

Many of the best Conservative minds belong to those who's skin is not "white". It is the Liberal Media that will not allow them to be heard. They present Jesse or Al as the voice of a "people" and ignore the true wise men who can help lift out the disproportionate numbers of minorities in poverty and failing schools.

Americans who are left to suffer so as to provide a voting bloc for Fascist. (See how the (choose creed, color or religion) man keeps you down!) Not unlike Hitler's tactics or those used in the Balkans more recently

As a "white" non-registered republican who happens to be 1/16th Cherokee I can say with all confidence that the Conservative movement is open to all who will choose the truth.

I think the idea is terrific. Sharpton has been treated like an icon by the Democrat Party.Every politician from Bradley to Gore made a visit to Harlem, the last election,to get Sharpton's blessings.Lieberman meets with him, when he comes to DC.They use Sharpton to get out the black vote and organize demonstrations against Republican mayors. Sharpton has been their tool and their fool.The Democrats are racial hypocrites. No Democrat,in my memory,has condemned Sharpton's behavior, as far as they were concerned,it was just fine,because he served their purpose.Now they want to pretend he doesn't exist and they surely don't want their black base, to be reminded that there is a Democrat running for president,who is black.My analogy has been that you dance with the one who brought you and the Democrats brought Sharpton to every dance,they made him Homecoming King,in some cases and now they are trying to jilt him.Our aim is to shine light on the hypocrisy and racism of the Democrats,by reminding people about Sharpton.

Nope, its in our interest to see Al go as far as possible. It would be sad to see him drop out before the primaries, his contentiousness will destroy the Rats! In debates, they will have only three choices, 1) Appear to support his positions, damaging the candidate with people with brains in the general election, 2) Appear to disagree with him, damaging the candidate's black support in the general election, 3) Ignore him, same result as #2.

I'm looking forward to Boston in the summer of '04, when Al's supporters in and out of the Rat convention hall make trouble for not getting what they want, should make Chicago '68 look like a playground spat!

Do you ever try to bring the minorities in your church to our side? There is so much info available on President Bush that you could show them - he really is trying to help them. Maybe you could show them that the Dems are lying to them about our President. President Bush always says we have to change people - one heart, one mind, one conscience at a time.

I agree with your assessment of Sharpton. He literally said in a press conference several weeks ago that Bill Clinton was not the first black president...that he was the first beige president...and that he, the Rev. Al, would be the first black president...

I always have very mixed feelings about the guy...sometimes he just seems like a loveable scoundrel and then I remember that he called the Jews in Crown Heights 'diamond merchants" and Yankel Rosenbaum wound up dead...and he called the Jewish landlord at Freddie's a 'white interloper' and the store was firebombed resulting in 7 deaths...he has rightly been called a 'racial arsonist' by some IMHO.

I think you should have directed that comment towards the Hollywood liberals who preach one thing and do another. I am a Republican and I don't belong to a country club but I do care for three children who's mother had died.
