demanding elected legislators govern as the people wish, ........The age of instant information has given the wishes of the people over to the wishes of the media.
To: ShelleyAa
I've always found the best way to deter a bully is to hit them back as hard as you can. You may take more of a beating in the short term, but they will eventually get the message that it's gonna hurt them everytime they mess with you, and they will move on to weaker targets.
Looks like the 'rats didn't get the message on '02...Kick 'em in the nads Dubya!

Pictures of pets? Like cats and dogs? How much $$$ for a picture of my ex-wife? She was one real bit....

"The age of instant information has given the wishes of the people over to the wishes of the media."
Just the opposite is true.
The liberal media is no longer the influence it used to be.
Fox, talk radio and the internet have informed people and the country is moving to the right.
It's about time.

For many years our voice was drowned by talking points to the media distributed by politicians for politicians. The media let us down, and I can't applaud the come back without remembering the abandonment.
There are still taboo inverview questions. There are still behind the scenes handshake deals for politicans TV time.
Moving right or left is immaterial to the well being of the country as that was originally both their goals.
Today that is no longer true. The empowerment the complacent media has given to both sides of the aisle have allowed the worst corrupt activities to just fall off the national screen because of partisanship and media alignment.

5 Republican Senators are going to vote NO on Bush's Tax proposals.

I have no idea what you are saying unless you are a tin-foil hat kindda guy.
You talk as though the media is the same entity it was 30 years ago.
I just said Fox, talk radio, and the internet.
Your comments give the impression the Rush and Hanity are all in on some big conspiracy to keep you ignorant.
Is that what you mean to convey?
"Moving right or left is immaterial to the well being of the country as that was originally both their goals."
Could you please explain this for me...it is undecipherable

I have to say that your explaination is a bit lite, even unsubstantial.
I'm not convinced.

I understand that if the information you have links for is accurate - distrust would result, however please address the need for action regarding the Pickering situation. Do you feel a need to write off this simply because you feel President Bush may or may not have honored his Pro-life stance? Do you feel that the Democrats have the right to destroy a man simply because he may be pro-life? Address please.
