Someone should remind this rabbi that although Jews have suffered persecution over the centuries, right now in the world it is Christians who are suffereing and dying for their faith more than any other religion.

And he should be reminded that it was Christians, like Corrie tenBoom and her family, who assisted the Jews during the second world war. That family suffered greatly for doing so, as I'm sure others did. How soon we forget. Read The Hiding Place sometime. It's a wonderful book.
