Gotta go with Kevin Curry on this one your being hypocritical. No one is justified in collecting social security EVER. Let me explain why. You say your justified in robbing my generation because the fedgov robbed yours. Don't work that way. If Party G( Fedgov) robs Party A( your generation) to pay party B( the old foggies of your day) that doesn't justify you accepting money the fedgov steals from party C( my generation) you'd only be justified if the fedgov was stealing it from party B.

And neener, neener to you to kevin, you poor soul.
Do any of your parents or grandparents draw SS?
If so, they "are a leech and a looter--by your own standards."

No one is justified to take SS after they have been robbed their whole career?
Son, either grow some balls and take over the country or get ready to pay up.
Or you could just quit paying taxes, that is the quickest way to demonstrate your machismo. (don't cite Edward Schiff in court, bad things might happen).
Good luck.

No one is justified to take SS after they have been robbed their whole career? No because you are not robbing the people who robbed you( the old folks of your day) you are robbing an innocent party( people currently in the workforce). and by the time your career ends your probably inheriting some of what got robbed from you anyway.

So? -- Don't pay your SS taxes then.
You have the same choice we had, - you'll pay or else -- and your stupid grandkid can call you a 'hyocritical' thief, forty years from now.
-- There is no viable political solution, imo. The 'system' will collapse in good time, and you must wait. Deal with it.

What an ignorant remark. Have you ever even read the Constitution? I have, but my copy doesn't contain either of the quotations above. On the other hand, I think there's a "liberals' Constitution" which contains both.

Its immoral for you to collect it and your a hypocrite and a thief because you are not robbing the same group of people who robbed you. Your not justified in burglarizing your neighbor because someone else burglarized your house. The people who robbed you are mostly dead by the time you collect social security and yes the system will collapse as all ponzi schemes do but we are going to pay a higher % of our incomes then you ever paid. The only way to opt out of the social security system is to flee the country( since the IRS still exerts a claim on your income its gotta be to someplace with banking secrecy laws).

I've long said that socialism has been polluting the political pond all over the world ever since Marx codified it. It would be an interesting project (for someone who could find a way to survive for the 5 years necessary to accomplish it) to trace the permeation of the American political system by Socialism. The 16th Amendment, for insatance, is probably the greatest Leap Backward into socialism in American history - and it happened long before Communism became "chic" among the likes of Hollywood idiots. I'm convinced that Mr. College Professor Woodrow Wilson was probably a proto-Communist.
It should be possible to trace, and document exhaustively, the exact manner in which this vile poison has spread among us - and a work of that nature would provide a good foundation for educating people w/r/t what has happened to us, and for beginning to extirpate it. As the author implies, while our system of government is a "top-down design" based on millenia of trial and error, socialism is just a perverted civic religion based on the bilious fulminations of a bunch of misfits and losers like Marx.
It may not look like it from our vantage point as victims of it, but now is the time. Socialism is now in retreat, from a historical perspective - and when the enemy is in retreat, he must be pursued and destroyed.

Folks...here's the bottom line...SOCIAL SECURITY IS A GIANT PONZY SCHEME...I HAVE SO LITTLE FAITH THAT I WILL EVER SEE A DIME OF MY FICA WITHHOLDING, THAT I WOULD ACTUALLY PAY TO GET OUT OF THE SYSTEM!

They have proven themselves, on average, of being unfit for the responsibility of living in a Republic. Change living to voting and I might even be inclined to agree with you.

Make your silly points on the 'immoral' aspects of SS, as you see them, to someone who cares, my boy.

I think we would have a better chance of living in a Constitutional Republic if only male property owners voted. Women have proven, by a large percentage, to be able to vote for the candidate with good hair and teeth that promise to be daddy.

Funny how the liberals and libertarians both squawk about their entitlements 24/7.

As I'm sure you know, Franklin D. Roosevelt is the one who started the biggest fire on the U.S. Constitution. A lot of problems in government today were started by his unConstitutional regime.

The printing presses will roll, and inflation will 'cure' the problem, until we all end up on a soup line ... Buy gold and silver now for the future. I can see the dollar not being worth the paper it's printed on in the future.
To: DAnconia55
They don't make history books and voting records where you're from? Why, I'm sure they do, but I'm just a woman and too stupid to look it up for myself, and even if I did, I'm sure I wouldn't understand it, so I need a man to do it for me.

The beginning of this country's problems coincide with the passage of the 19th amendment (womens vote).
The elevation of matriarchy over patriarchy (emotion over reason) was the point of no return.

I recently read an opinion that the term "Fascism" was expropriated by the socialists to label the Nazis so as to distance themselves from Hitler's programs. They were afraid that their loyal followers would abandon them if they realized that 3rd Reich was socialist, root and branch. I do not know the origin of the term "fascism". I read that Musollini labeled the system "corporatism".
In fascism or corporatism the state has the upper hand. In the US the corporations have gained power and now to a large extent determine (buy) policy. A contemporary author (name escapes me) has labeled this version "fascilism".
Regardless of the label, here is what I say to all of the statists:
