"If abortion were the only target, the administration would not be attempting to block women's access to contraceptives, which drive down the number of abortions.

What are they talking about? not handing out condoms in high school?

As long as that leftist nut Howell Raines controls the editorial decisions of the Slimes, we will get regular pronouncements about how Bush and Republicans are declaring war on whatever liberal official victim group du jour is available. Women, minorities, homosexuals, the elderly, children, the environment and the endangered wild critter or bug of the moment are all at risk according to the increasingly hysterical Slimes. Next Bush will be guilty of declaring war on murderous primitive religious nuts who want to enslave or kill us. Oh Bush has done that? The heartless fiend! (yuk, yuk)

"1.) She has chosen or allowed a man to come into her life in a romantic way." ......he has chosen or allowed a woman to come into his life in a romantic way

"2.) She has chosen or allowed a man to have sex with her.".......he has chosen or allowed a woman to have sex with him...

"3.) She has chosen or forgotten to take proper birth control measures."......he has chosen or forgotten to take proper birth control measures...

okay...see...we have these "man" threads now and then bitterly complaining that men are not looked at equally as "parents"...

you can not have it both ways.....

you can not put all responsibility on women and at the same time claim that men are equal in the parenting.....

seems men need to start assuming their rightful place in choosing to help make babies and that means men must start doing some of the "controlling " and take on some of the medical or physical things that prevent birth...

I hear the male birth control pill will be very, very simple to use...

When it comes to abortion, I just can not take with any seriousness any men who dispute THEIR responsibility with the making of babies all the while condemning their female counterparts....

Fine, then MEN should have a say so if they want the child.

Again I saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun. And behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had no one to comfort them! On the side of their oppressors there was power, and there was no one to comfort them. Ecclesiastes 4:1

My pastor asked a question in his sermon today that I think is vital to remember in this battle: “Is there anything worst than taking advantage of and destroying the poor? Yes, what Jesus went through for sinners.” He was hated, despised, oppressed and killed for us. Yet he was without sin. Take comfort in this, Freepers, so we may comfort others. We must always fight this battle with prayer first, not growing weary, realizing we can’t do everything at once and trusting the Lord of Hosts for the victory.

Yep, that's what I've always said: The time for choice is before you hit the sheets with Mr. Wonderful.
