Good question. I even tried to research that one time. Hitlery got eight mil, right? Anyway, whatever it was, I wanted to know how many books she had to sell for it to be a "break-even" situation. I never could get accurate costing but let's say her hard-cover sells for $25, she's gotta sell 320,000 of them suckers to equal eight mil.
I know, I know, there's still paperback and foreign rights and different cost and profit structures, blah, blah, blah. But that number alone kinda sucked the wind outta my sails.
But I'm with ya'. Who are the idiots willing to pony up that kinda dough for one convicted liar and another one of the congenital variety?

My cousin.
My god, she got her picture taken with Algore (the popularly elected president, or so she says.) and
she gushed on about it for half an hour. Probably
has a signed copy of Earth in the Balance too.
Eck!

The track record of Clinton books had been abyssmal. They are big money losers.
I firmly believe that Chinese military, pardon, and other bribe money continues to be laundered to the Clintons via "book advances" and the $150,000/night "speaker's fees" paid to Bill.
There must exist Swiss and Cayman Island type accounts containing, probably, a total of $100 million in bribe money payments. The question is how do the Clintons wash the money? It slowly reaches the direct control of the Clintons by the conduits just discussed. This isn't a marraige of two lawyers, its a criminal conspiracy!
Bill and Hillary are joined by the fact that they can never legally rat out the other if they stay married. And so the loving couple will never divorce.
