It's horrible. The Bee Gees were my very first concert. My mom took me to see them in 1977, just as the whole
Saturday Night Fever thing was exploding. I was all of seven years old, and had an awesome time.
They're the only band to make the charts in five consecutive decades.

They're the only band to make the charts in five consecutive decades. That's a wonderful piece of mental memorabilia. Thank you!

As a toddler in 1969,I watched my Dad tell my older brother to change the Satellite from Dish Network to Iridium.

And, can you believe, they were not even nominated for best soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever?

The BeeGees distinguished themselves through their wonderful natural harmony and blend, creativity, survival skills, and adaptability.
This is a great loss. I know how close these brothers were. My prayers will be with the entire family.

I was seven at the time also when
Saturday Night Fever came out. I loved that movie, the dancing and the I loved dancing to the music of the Bee Gees on my little alarm clock radio when I happen to hear them being played.
Sad.
They're the only band to make the charts in five consecutive decades.
I wonder if Britney Spears, N Sync or Shakira will be able to have claim to such an achievement even twenty years from now. I think not.
