Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees died yesterday at age 53. I liked the Bee gees music. Contrary to simple resume's you'll be reading, they were NOT a "disco band"- they were a lot better than that. But that's not the purpose of this note. Many "Pop" stars have died and are dying frequently lately it seems. Many by their own hand, ie John Entwistle of the Who of Cocaine overdose. Some you could see coming, others come as a surprise/shock ie Gibb. Some die like the average person, cancer or something ie George Harrison.
One thing that I've noticed runs thru MOST (not all) of these "rock" obituaries. They all had all the world could offer-fame, money, sex, drugs, - you name it. BUT, I'm also reading things like the following:
"Chris Hutchins, a writer and former press agent for the Bee Gees, said Maurice was very much a tormented soul.
WHY?
Goodness gracious - WHY??
I'll leave you to answer that question.
