I've always thought it odd that any Islamic "cleric" refers to themselves as "minister". Minister usually refers to a Christian cleric.

Farrakhan isn't a Muslim per se.

He's a member of the Nation of Islam, which is a splinter sect of Islam like the Jehovah's Witnesses are of Christianity. He believes quite a few rather wierd things, just check out the stuff on Dr. Yakoub.
