Va Beach seems to be bad for big, dangerous dogs.

This is one of the beaches we go to in the winter. But so many people allow their bad dogs to run free on the beach that we are about to find a new getaway spot.

I saw one Doberman that was absolutely unrestrainable by the owner. The dog was pulling on his leash so hard he was pulling his big fat owner through the sand. Then he would jump up in the air, barking, very menancing. So what did owner do? Go down on the beach (where I am quietly trying to enjoy the surf) AND TAKE THE DOG OFF THE LEASH, where of course the dog went beserk and began to charge people, etc.

I was terrified.

The dumb owner is plodding along laughing. "Oh, he won't hurt nobody."
