You ought to be out here on the left coast. We're majority Mexican in many parts, 50% statewide, I believe.

Wrong.

Hispanic-Americans make up only 33% of California population.

Since Hispanics include many nationalities, Mexicans are even a smaller percentage in California.

Washington and Oregon have even lower percentage of Mexican-Americans.

Well, it sure doesn't seem that way walking around WalMart in Ceres.

But some areas are more than others, right? Like, San Jose, which is supposed to be majority mex?

The reaction of some on this thread to the article has been down-right scary. Allying with the WCC is wrong. Never trust the WCC or anyone like them. The liberals would love to link conservatives with the WCC and we should not make it easier. I strongly believe that the United States can and should enforce the immgration laws on the books. Enforcing immgration, naturalization, and resident alien laws are necessary to the security of the nation. In some areas the laws need to be tighted so that they are not abused. However, supporting the WCC is a threat to the rest of our conservative agenda. We should support the agenda of a fair and safe America - opposing the WCC and supporting the enforcement of immgration law is necessary to do both.

BTW, even only 33% is still a lot of people! More than we can handle.
