Yes, we got some snow last week. But it's gone now. Next week there may be some snow again.
It's coooooolllllld.
To: knighthawk
Shalom, knighthawk! It's 4 in the morning and I'm just about ready to get to bed. The last couple days here have been 32 or 33. Too warm for snow.

Thanks for the link to the Colorado FReep, Kathy.
You're right. The peaceniks don't have a clue and, unfortunately, most likely never will. A plague that seems incurable.

"waiting to be able to read the e-mails from overseas and I've finally gotten all replies out."
What a GREAT way to start your day!
It's how I start my day and end it. It's such a pleasure to meet all the fine people I've met so far and meet new ones each day. I've met two Tennesseans, one of which is from right here in this tiny town I live in. I almost fell outta my chair when I read his first e-mail! Talk about a shock LOL!!!
It's just a good feeling to be able to let these folks know personally that we're back home thinking about them. It seems such a small thing compared to what they're doing for us, but they appreciate it so much. God bless those men and women!

4 in the morning? You're a Nighthawk too!

Thank you for posting our Colorado Support Our Troops rally up here on the Canteen (#180). I'm glad I could be there to counter the peace-niks in person. This Operation Infinite FReep is spreading like wildfire.
By the way I did a little web surfing for you Alaska FReepers. There are weekly protests by the peace-nik crowd in Fairbanks and Juneau, and a chance to FReep the peace-niks in Haines coming up the 18th.
For info go to www.unitedforpeace.org
Try not to puke.
Thank You Veterans and Armed Forces!
All the Best

M0sby's husband is a Master Sergeant of Marines. Thank you for the kind words for my wife. I can tell you that we Marines here are very grateful for the support of you folks, and are honored to have a chance to be of service to this great nation.
By the way, if you read this, M0sby, I love you more every minute we are apart.
Semper Fi!

Thank you, you guys (gals) for the OH-SO-KIND words and pictures... I will show the 3 year old (Matthew) the 2 month old doesn't get it yet :-)
I just got back to this thread today.. made me cry. I really appreciate it!
The good news is- we are going to visit my husband in a couple of weeks to take advantage of the fact that he is stateside(for now, at least). If you didn't see his post, my husband is freeper 1911A1. He is a Master SGt in the Marine Corps. (He is also really funny, and cute too;-)
We miss him terribly but he is a "Very Good Marine", as my 3 year old would say! So he is in the right place, right now!
Thanks again for all of your kind words. I will definately be back here sooner than later... I enjoy talking with people who GET IT!
Sincerely,
M0sby
