Your very statement proves the article true. Why would you say that a woman who is accomplished is "in competition with you"?

I just read the book "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge. It's excellent. He talks about this very subject. Men not knowing how to be men anymore....they either are violent or passive but nothing inbetween.

Women want to be pursued but the men are too passive to do that now. Men still want to be the hero but they lack the guts to do it anymore.

Ask any man and one of his favorite movies is "Braveheart"....and let me tell you....every woman dreams of a guy with kahonas like that.....

If that was true I would have found Miss Right 15 years ago.

The feminist generation was the most superficial, shallow bunch of women to come around for a long time and now as they age they are paying for it and so are the men.

You are a vivid reminder of why I am no longer willing to even get into a committed dating relationship anymore.

Unlike the other male posters on this thread, I have no trouble getting dates or meeting decent women. In fact, they want to be in love with you after about a half-dozen dates. I DO have trouble though, getting them to believe me when I say that I do NOT want to be in a serious committed relationship. (For some reason, they think they can persuade me to change my mind by putting on the full-court press, which only makes me have to stop seeing them altogether)

Thanks for reminding me why I don't want to be in that situation.
