Sen. Hillary Clinton's camp blasted actor James Woods yesterday after he maligned the New York lawmaker this week.
Woods, who plays former Mayor Giuliani in the upcoming cable pic "Rudy," said Wednesday that Giuliani "went to over 200 [9/11] funerals. Senator Clinton went to zero. That's a simple statistic you never read."
No wonder you never read it: It's not true.
Woods' comments were "factually inaccurate and extremely inappropriate," said Clinton's rep, Jennifer Hanley.
Hanley noted that Clinton attended many police and firefighter funerals and gave a eulogy at the service for FDNY chaplain Father Mychal Judge.

EPISODE #21 - WHY COPS AND FIREMEN HATE HILLARY Here is my research:
It would be common decency that a Senator from New York would attend the funerals of heroes who died on 9-11. There has been no such decency from Hillary. We can only find evidence that she attended one funeral -- the burial of Father Mychal Judge, which was a media-saturated event. The other two events she attended were televised memorial events at Yankee Stadium and at Ground Zero. According to journalist Betty Harpaz, Hillary fears being booed by mourners. In contrast, Rudy Giuliani and Gov. George Pataka attended hundreds of funerals.
FOXNews attempted to learn from Hillary's office how many funerals she had attended. Her office has refused to give a response. Senator Chuck Schumer's office did respond. He attend 10 funeral services.

Now Paul, you KNOW Bill and Hillary will never die. They'll just keep on going and going and going...and lying and cheating and stealing...

Right, one isn't many. But I just wanted to comment on what James Woods said, that she hadn't gone to any.
But one is not many! Leave it to hitlery to have her staff exaggerate it out of all proportion though.
Otherwise: Go, James, go!

They will if it's a cremation. Hopefully a live one.

I was on vacation last Sept and had the TV on in my hotel room while getting ready for a round of golf. There was some show, on ESPN maybe, where they did a half hour interview of Woods playing a round of golf.I had never really liked him as an actor. I've just never enjoyed the characters he plays but, in that interview two things were obvious: that he's a hardcore, rabid conservative actor who has the guts to stand up and say that Hollywood liberals are idiots and he's really, really, really sharp.

I've had exactly the same thought, but it is fun to dream.

I would take James Woods more seriously if he had not starred in Oliver Stone's pro-communist propaganda film Salvador. That film maligned President Reagan's Central American policy in the 1980's and propagated the myth of right wing death squads killing a Catholic Bishop, Raping American Nuns and killing an ABC News Reporter. Wood's should never be forgiven for his part in trashing Ronald Reagan on the big screen.

It was probably almost 20 years ago. He's changed a lot in 20 years, I know I have. He wasn't quite the star then that he is now, and was probably grateful to get a role like that.

Notice, other than the funeral for the chaplain, no evidence was presented to substantiate their claim. I did a search on the Houston Chronicle archives (which contains *every* item which has appeared in the Chronicle since 1985, including such fluff as cake recipes, etc.)
A search from 9/1/01 to 6/1/02 for any articles containing the words "Hillary" and "Clinton" and "funeral" turned up just half a dozen hits, describing only two events:
1. The funeral of FDNY chaplain Rev. Mychal Judge.
2. The catch-all 10/29/01 memorial at Ground Zero, attended by over 9000 people.

Woods is incredibly sharp. Full scholarship to MIT, as I recall, perfect 1600 SAT scores, in the days when the SAT hadn't been dumbed down.

2. The catch-all 10/29/01 memorial at Ground Zero, attended by over 9000 people.I'll bet that's the one that I saw a photo of, with her weeping with some poor family member.

Gads! And Hillary's shills had the stones to say:
"Woods' comments were "factually inaccurate and
extremely inappropriate."
These are some sick puppies. I can still hear them at Wellstone's "funeral" screaming "We will win, we will win!" Bizarre!

Then perhaps Mr. Woods should publicly apologize for the error, and correct the record.
He could go on one of the leading FNC evening shows to say that, while Guliani attended 200, Clinton attended more than zero, she attended one.
And the FNC host could explain that FNC offered Clinton the opportunity to come on the program, but she refused.

Dreams about them turn into nightmares. Eight years of it was eight years too many. Oh well...
