Two things...

Alligator Alley is in Broward, not Dade.

And this is why it is important that control of issues like these be turned over to the States. So people can vote Senators out.

You're right. Broward and Collier county.

However wetlands legislation affects the whole of South Florida. You're a smart guy, dig a little and you'll find that the entirety of environmental law is based on treaties. Not legislation and rarely voted on in public.

For example check the dates and times of most environmental/treaty law votes. Generally they are made late at night on the last day of a session.

Does that sound like a transparent body?
