The far-left press in New Jersey is predictably giving Gov. McGreevy a pass. He campaigned on a theme that DYFS was poorly run then as governor did nothing to address the problems.
He is a shameless panderer and won't hold unions and minorities accountable for anything. Now that hideous crimes have attracted national attention he distances himself from the department and points his fingers at the culprits as if he is nothing more than an outraged outside observer.
The Newark Star-Ledger won't hold him accountable. The solution de jour is to spend more money on DYFS and expand its staff.
Curiosly, some case workers have only one or two cases to manage. These kids don't stand a chance.

True ... so true ... the problem ain't DYFS. No way. The problem is personal, familial, nieghborhood-centric, job-centric. Where is the dad, are the dads? Look at what tolerance for strip-joints does. "Sex-workers" rot as moms, and the trade corrupts and destroys families. Children of sex-workers get killed, raped, tortured regularly at much higher rates than other "professions".

The ruckus about DYFS and any fixes in DYFS tragically only serve to delay dealing with the actual problem.

What is the problem? Here's one example of the problem: "The Man Show"!

We have removed the common sense of shame from the social equation regarding the sex-trade, the general sexual culture. Any modesty at all is Puritan wacko religious zealotry. Yet without shame and modesty, the most marginal -- the poor low-class single women are exposed, are caught and trapped in that modern post-Esquire, post-Cosmo "enlightened" tolerance.

The popular reign of the celebrated and affable US President Clinton was a epiphany of that enlightened, sophisticated attitude! How great it was that he had a new liberated-sexuality woman in every corner in which he wandered, wherever he worked!

All great and wonderful! A delightful man!

Except to the young boy wasted, stuffed in the wastebasket. And his tens and hundreds of thousands of brothers and sisters all crushed under the wheels of the libertine culture.
