Why are the lies allowed to go unchecked? Why are WE not raising these issues in the national media instead of waiting for them to raise and then running and cowering, once again intimidated into going along to "prove" that WE are not the party of racism?Those are questions for the party leadership. The strategy must be included as a part of the direction for the party in and of itself, not only on a state/local level, but on a national level. But until this point is realized, the problems will remain.
But know this - Where I can, I do ask the questions and issue the challenges. That is how I plant the seeds in the minds of many - simply by asking the questions. Those who listen and hear what I'm saying begin to connect the dots; begin to logically analyze the situation themselves. I'm the Johnny Appleseed, if you will.
And with dedicated folks like yourself working hard to expose the lies, things will change. I don't think that most people LIKE being lied to. Maybe I am too naive, but I think that when people realize they've been being lied to that most get angry about it. Then the question arises, will they remain loyal to the party or will they start looking for a better way?
Keep up the good work. And don't dismiss the idea of running for office.
Those lies are propagated by the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of the world; and by the mainstream media who uses that medium to continue to portray us in that fashion. And as long as we allow those lies to go out unchecked, the perception will continue to be reeforced in the minds of black America. I wonder, does it require a black person to counter the lies, or can a white speaker reach as many and as effectively?
