Must've been something on that tarp; although, if it's been in the water....

That'd be my guess. It could mean that the husband killed her and carried her in the boat, wrapped in the tarp. She gets tossed off the bridge over the lake, and he tosses the tarp into to ocean.

Is this lake on the route to the fishing spot?

Tulloch Lake is not on the way to the Berkeley Marina. Fact is, it's in the exact opposite direction.

We had a friend go out on a boat alone in the Atlantic ocean and dissapear just a few months ago. No body, nothing. Just an empty boat. I asked if the body wouldn't eventually surface or come to shore and was told no. The fish take care of that. So if Laci's hubby DID dump her in ocean, there would be nothing left. Grisly, but it's a fact.

If you mean, is this Lake Tulloch, where they were searching, on the route to the stated fishing spot, Berkeley Marina, the answer is no. When I looked at mapquest, it appeared to me that Lake Tulloch (near Chowchilla) would have been in the opposite direction to Berkeley Marina, if one were going from Modesto.
