Tort reform was part of the President's paltform while he was running for office. Perhaps, With the new Congress, We can get tort reform put into law.

Yes, we have more rights than before but unfortunately, many of them (like Abortion) aren't enumerated in the Constituion.

I'd love it if someone would propose a genuine "new" right to be put in the Constitution to protect us from unwarranted lawsuits.

We didn't have the lawsuit problem when the framers were writing the bill of rights, otherwise no doubt they would have written in some protections. Now we do have a lawsuit problem, and we need a hard core protection from this kind of abuse.

I heard Bush say something about tort reform in his speech yesterday. Hope he can pull something off.
