The Resolute Majority Resolutions 2003
Toogood Reports ^ | January 8, 2003 | John E. Jaggers

  1. The resolute majority resolves to ignore all press and academic reports blaming America for the World’s evils. Evil pre-dates America and Evil will post date America.

  2. We resolve to live our lives without regard to fear of terrorists. With vigilance, we will protect our Homeland. Without mercy for enemy combatants, we will deliver the Terror War to the Terrorist Caves.

  3. We resolve to continue to tolerate the Transportation Security Agency’s (TSA) penchant for inspecting the bags, shoes, and person of Grandma Moses while 30 year old Arab men walk past TSA without a second look. Concern over offending these men by racial profiling ought to draw a reprimand if not a firing. Protecting the Homeland is TSA’s – including job, not protecting Political Correctness.

  4. We resolve to patiently watch the Democratic Party wander in the political wilderness searching for a Presidential Moses who will lead them to the promised land of mainstream relevance.

  5. The Resolute majority resolves to:
    a. Support any move to impeach judges who re-write election law from the bench
    b. Support any move to impeach judges who let thugs, drug dealers, and terrorists back on the street with anything less than the maximum criminal penalty
    c. Support any move to impeach any judge ruling that the free exercise of religion, practiced by the majority of the Republic, unconstitutionally uses the public square to celebrate their beliefs, e.g. manger scenes, the word Christmas, and accompanying symbols show what is good and do not infringe on the rights and dignity of minority religions – including atheistic Secular Humanism.

  6. We resolve to banish racial demagogues from both political parties. America has enough emotional and political baggage derived from racism, smoldering in public life, without demagogues pouring gas on the embers.

  7. We resolve to continue to provide for our families despite having 50% of our income confiscated through taxation to enable vote buying and political pandering. We understand a certain amount of waste and abuse is going to happen. However we also expect at least some effort made by our representatives to spend our money wisely.

  8. We resolve to remove from national political office any national leader who:
    a. Believes the Terror War to be futile, and without hope
    b. Travels to enemy territory and condemns: Our Faith, Our Country, Our Way of Life, and/or Our President
    c. Thinks the Military is a place for social experimentation and political correctness vice the means by which our government provides for the common defense
    d. Thinks Osama Bin Laden has any redeeming qualities or has made any positive impact in world affairs. OBL is no different than Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo, or Stalin.

  9. We resolve to act. We will continue to build our great nation and a great future for our children and our children’s children. We will work like we always have, build like we always have, and foster freedom like we always have. 2001 saw the liberation of Afghanistan, 2003 will see the liberation of Iraq.

  10. We resolve to recommit ourselves to the proposition that we will remember our past with pride and look to our future with hope. We hope all can share the freedoms we’ve inherited. We will mind and watch over our actions and the actions of those who would injure us. We know our failure to act, led evil to believe it would operate unopposed. We’ll pay the price of our freedom again – and again we resolve to pay the price with sweat and blood.
