Totally putting down O'reilly's comment that Byrd was a younger man when he was with the KKK...TBM came back about his service when he was 24 and how many 24 year old's are responsible, so TBM wasn't buying into it (not exact words, but he shut O'reilly down quick on this )...Good job Kevin!

Excellent history of West Virginia as opposed to Virginia.

O'Reilly said, "Byrd is a southerner" and Kevin came back with the CORRECT history. West Viriginia separated from Virginia and joined the north. Byrd would never have been a "southern general" during the Civil War.

Kevin is right....it's highly inappropriate for KKK Byrd to appear in a southern officer uniform. It's historically inaccurate and, given his comments about NEVER fighting alongside a 'negro,' having Byrd in any uniform is offensive.
