This is more than excellant - this is awesome!

Rush said the other day to the Republicans - why bother winning if you're just going to wimp out!!

Hmmmm? Maybe GW decided to go for it!! (but I'm sure GW was not waiting for Rush to tell him what to do).

My thoughts also. I thought the Lott fiasco had doomed this nomination.

I agree. I was thinking that Pickering was a goner after the Lott fiasco.

This is not what the media "experts" told us after Trent Lott was sacked. They said that Judge Pickering, a Mississippian, would pay the price for the Lott birthday remark. It is very good to hear that the President is bringing back this nomination. Is he doing the same for Justice Owen of TX?
