Not a personal story, but one that touched me nevertheless:

A few years ago, I heard a news item about a house catching fire while a teenage boy was sleeping inside. Someone driving along the freeway saw the fire, exited the freeway, drove to the house, broke into the house, found the unconscious boy, dragged him outside to safety, and left the scene.

Of course, the boy's rescuer was an angel.

Here's mine, not a "miracle", but one I would call an "angelic intervention".

I was canoeing in the Boundry Waters Canoe Area on the Minnesota/Canadian border. It was a group of about 10 of us, from a church youth group.
We portaged from one lake to another, and had loaded our gear back on the canoes and headed out across the lake.
We were about 300 yards from the shore when we heard someone yelling. Looking back towards the portage, we saw three people waving, and we could make out something about gear. My canoe partner and I told everyone else that we would go back and get the gear we left and catch up with the group at the other end of the lake.

We get back to the portage, and sure enough there's one "duluth pack" sitting there. But there was NO ONE around. We were perplexed at this, and we hiked the portage all the way back to the previous lake, and never saw anyone! When we looked out on that lake, there was NO ONE on the water either. Bear in mind, that the portage trail went from one lake to the other, with no other trails intersecting it. There was no sign of anyone. We got back to our canoe and headed out. We could see the portage nearly the entire time we paddled to catch up, and never saw anyone come out of it.

God watches over his people, and sends his messengers when needed to help us out.
