When Fort Collins City Council passed a strict smoking ordinance last month, it joined a wave of cities that have enacted tighter restrictions on lighting up in public.
And as the ordinance burns its way into residents' thinking, the city might find itself at the forefront of a movement to make similar changes across the state.

My vote is offer them a cigarette and smile. "Care for one?"
"Pound sand up their clinton" will be the phrase that enters my mind and causes me to laugh uncontrollably at my next serious meeting or job interview. My mind likes to do that to me.
