This game absolutely killed me yesterday. The worst Giants loss in my lifetime, worse than Piscarchek, worse than the debacle against Minnesota in 97. Worse than any pasting, blow out, blown lead, divisional loss etc. WORST EVER! Thank goodness I have 6 months to recover

Amen! It may take 6 months to recover from this one!

Then again, we cannot expect a team to win a Super Bowl without a kicking game!

I sat there....just stunned for the last 10 minutes of the game.

But as I licked my wounds, I started thinking about how I felt before the season. I didn't expect much and much like 97 was pleasantly suprised at how things worked out. And of course like 97 the end was as bitter a pill as a fan should be forced to swallow.

Take heart in what happened to the Vikings the next time they saw them in the playoffs.
