I think she was furious that the disaster didn't happen while she and Bill were still in the White House. I'm sure she had visions of having Bill declare a "state of emergency" that was really "martial law", "postponing" the 2000 elections, and ruling with the approval of a thoroughly scared Congress.
All the guns would have been rounded up, Rush Limbaugh disappeared, and billions sent to the "poor" ragheads, as they did to the North Koreans. A "small price to pay" for keeping them in power forever.
What I saw in Hitlery's face that day was Fate denying her the opportunity to stand next to Bill and give that speech.
